New Products on Wine Shop Lanzarote!

We're delighted to announce a range of new products on Wine Shop Lanzarote!  From today you can find the traditional red and green mojo sauces from Bernardo's along with it's famous Cactus Liqueur, produced from the prickly pear fruit which grows on the cactus.  We have award winning vinegar from Lagrima de Malvasia Volcanica and their Lagrima de Aceite Extra Virgen Olive Oil from Fuerteventura.  

Education and celebrating Lanzarote is all about we do, and a must have for all those with interest in Lanzarote wine is this book by Ruben Acosta and Mario Ferrer titled, Lanzarote & Wine, Landscape and Culture.  We have long referred to this book as our "bible" and it really is a brilliant read explaining the uniqueness, culture and history of Lanzarote wine. The perfect gift for any wine lover!

We also of course have wine in our latest shipment including the Bermejo Diego 2023 for the first time.  The white Diego grape has become a really sought after variety these past years.  Think crunchy green fruit and minerals, with structure and acidity resulting in a great gastronomic wine, able to handle itself with a great range of dishes.

We have long been looking to expand into some gastronomic delights from  the Islands.  This is just the first step in the process.  Bernardo's Gourmet Products have a whole range of jams, marmalades and sauces and we're sure many of you who visit the island will have tried them.  Of course if there is anything from their wide range of goods you would like to see in our shop in the future then let us know!

Wine and gastronomy go hand in hand, and it is an important aspect of Lanzarote life, culture and tradition.  It is also an area that is very well supported via various initiatives, which have seen a whole host of new businesses open within the various sub-sectors over the past few years.  Standards are very high, and that can be demonstrated by the Lagrima de Malvasia Volcanica Vinegar, which recently won the best vinegar in the world award!  Not only that they are personally endorsed by none other than Martín Berasategui, who with 12 Michelin stars has the most in Spain and 3rd highest number in the world!
