Primo de Lanzarote
Creator – Davide Musci
Production – 10,000 litres max
Primo de Lanzarote was the first vermouth produced on Lanzarote and is the brainchild of Davide Musci, who thanks to his amazing homemade recipe was encouraged by his two friends and now business partners, Luca and Alberto to produce it commercially. The three friends are from Piemonte in Italy, the birthplace of vermouth. Both the white and red vermouths are infused with some botanicals from the Island and the red even coloured with local prickly pear fruit and palm honey from La Gomera. Another major differentiator of Primo is the starting point, the excellent wine, which is not traditionally the case with vermouths! It is produced by Bodegas Reymar a Lanzarote D.O. winery and is a blend of the Island’s native Malvasia Volcanica and Diego grape varieties. Primo has had great success with distribution across the Canaries and in Spain, and we are now delighted to bring it to the UK & Ireland.
